this is the oldest Airport of Germany called Tempelhof; in the middle of Berlin; it´s almost empty today. The Airport is famous for the Berlin Airlift after the second world war when west Berlin as an Island within east Germany (GDR) was solely supplied via aircroft (survice packages for the Berliners…; big big help of the Americans). Very interesting and historical place…
